Building a state-of-the-art SOC is a long-term project especially in a military environment composed of various classified networks and combat platforms. Military infrastructures moreover rely upon strict homologation processes, specific network protocols and multiple embedded systems, which may be challenging for traditional SOCs. In order to build a sovereign, military SOC, Thales therefore devised a precise, field-proven methodology based on its return of experience from the French Ministry of Defence SOC.
