Description
SpanKey SSH Server is RCDevs’ centralized SSH key and privileged access management solution for Linux and Unix infrastructures. Built on top of the WebADM Identity Platform, SpanKey centralizes SSH authentication, key distribution, privileged access, and session monitoring into a unified and secure access management platform.
Designed for enterprise, government, defense, and critical infrastructure environments, SpanKey eliminates the need to manually deploy, distribute, or maintain SSH public keys across servers. Instead, SSH keys are centrally managed through WebADM and dynamically delivered to Linux systems through lightweight SpanKey agents.
SpanKey integrates with Active Directory and LDAP directories to centralize user identities, SSH authorizations, and access policies across Linux infrastructures. It supports identity-based access control, shared administrative accounts with individual accountability, centralized sudo management, SSH session recording, command monitoring, and detailed audit logging for privileged operations.
The platform provides web-based self-services for SSH key enrollment, lifecycle management, provisioning, deprovisioning, and automated key renewal workflows. Organizations can manage software and hardware-backed SSH keys while enforcing strong authentication and zero-trust access policies. When combined with OpenOTP, SpanKey adds multi-factor authentication (MFA) to SSH access using technologies such as FIDO2, smart cards, OTP tokens, and push authentication.
Built for sovereign and security-sensitive deployments, SpanKey operates fully on-premises without dependency on external cloud services. Its Linux-native architecture supports high availability, clustering, and air-gapped environments, making it especially suitable for regulated industries and classified infrastructures.
